A Wind Advisory is in effect for the Walt Disney World area from 11am Tuesday through midnight tonight, with northeast winds of 15 to 25 mph and gusts up to 45 mph expected.
The advisory covers Northern Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Southern Lake counties - putting the entire Walt Disney World resort within the affected zone. Disney has not announced any operational impacts so far.
The advisory is part of a larger weather event affecting Central Florida through midweek. A Flood Watch is in effect for coastal counties, with 2 to 4 inches of rain forecast through Thursday. The interior - including the Walt Disney World area - can expect 1 to 3 inches of rainfall over the same period.
Additional rounds of showers and storms are possible Wednesday into Thursday as a second disturbance moves through the region.
Conditions are expected to gradually improve heading into the weekend, with drier weather and temperatures returning to the upper 70s to low 80s by Sunday.
