Red Flag Warning and Record Heat: Walt Disney World Weather — May 7, 2026

The National Weather Service in Melbourne upgraded the fire danger for the Walt Disney World area to a Red Flag Warning on Thursday, May 7, 2026. Combined with record-setting mid-90s heat and gusty west-southwest winds, dangerous fire weather conditions are in effect noon to 8pm across Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake, Volusia, and Brevard Counties.
