UPDATE - October 20, 2025 | 10pm - Disney Digital Services appear to be back online and operating as normal.
PREVIOUSLY:
Walt Disney World's website and My Disney Experience app are currently experiencing widespread technical issues affecting key digital services, including dining reservations.
Guests attempting to make dining reservations are being met with a full-page message reading, "We are down for maintenance." Meanwhile, Disney has posted a notice across multiple digital platforms stating:
"Pardon the Inconvenience
We are currently experiencing intermittent technical issues that may affect some of our digital experiences. We're actively working to resolve this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience."
The outage appears tied to the ongoing problems with Amazon Web Services (AWS), which has disrupted many of the world's largest websites and apps throughout the day. Although AWS says it has fixed the underlying issue, the company acknowledged that some services continue to experience "significant errors."
Earlier today, platforms including Snapchat, Duolingo, and Roblox were affected by the widespread cloud outage. According to Downdetector, users later reported additional issues with Grok, Lyft, and Hulu. Some applications remained offline for more than six hours, with reports suggesting that more than 1,000 companies experienced disruptions.
Until late this afternoon, Disney's digital systems had remained largely unaffected, but users are now seeing outages across DisneyWorld.com and within the My Disney Experience app. Disney has not yet provided a timeframe for when full functionality will return.
