Walt Disney World has added two new Disney MagicMobile pass styles for Annual Passholders as part of V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days, available starting May 1, 2026.
The New Pass Styles
Passholders can choose between two new designs:
- A sunny overlay featuring Mickey Mouse in his summertime shades
- A playful portrait of Woody and Buzz
Both styles are available through the My Disney Experience app for the duration of V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days — May 1 through July 31, 2026.
How to Update Your Pass Style
If you already have a Disney MagicMobile pass:
- Open the My Disney Experience app and tap the three-line icon (?) in the bottom-right corner
- Scroll down and select "Set Up MagicMobile Entry"
- Select the pass you want to update and tap "Change Pass Style"
- Choose your preferred style and tap "Done"
If you don't yet have a Disney MagicMobile pass, you can select one of the new styles when setting it up and adding it to your digital wallet.
What Is Disney MagicMobile?
Disney MagicMobile lets you use your smartphone as your park entry pass, replacing the need for a physical card or MagicBand. It works alongside MagicBand and MagicBand+ — you can switch between them whenever you like.
Using Your MagicMobile Pass at the Parks
At the main entrance, tap your phone to the touch point. If your device is positioned correctly, a check mark and "Done" will appear on screen.
Apple devices: Express Mode activates automatically when you add a Disney MagicMobile pass to Apple Wallet. You don't need to unlock your phone or open your wallet — just tap and go. You can also swipe to passes for other members of your party.
Android devices: You'll need to unlock your device before tapping to the touch point.
The same process applies at virtual queue and Lightning Lane entrances.
Linking PhotoPass Images
To connect Disney PhotoPass images to your account, show your MagicMobile pass to a PhotoPass photographer around the resort. For attraction photos to link automatically, make sure Bluetooth is enabled in the My Disney Experience app. Your phone cannot be in low power mode while on an attraction, and a smartwatch cannot be used to automatically link attraction images.
Purchases With MagicMobile
If you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can use your MagicMobile pass to charge food and merchandise purchases to the payment card on file at your room. This feature is not available for guests not staying on property.
