Extended Evening Hours Shifts to Disney's Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom in May 2026

Disney's posted park hours reveal continued shifts to the Extended Evening Hours schedule in May 2026. Disney's Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom are both picking up dates that would typically go to EPCOT or Magic Kingdom.

Extra Magic Hours overview

On Monday, May 11, Extended Evening Hours will be held at Disney's Hollywood Studios instead of EPCOT, from 9pm to 11pm. Then on Wednesday, May 13, Animal Kingdom takes the slot instead of Magic Kingdom, from 6pm to 8pm.

This follows the previously reported change on May 4, when Animal Kingdom hosts Extended Evening Hours instead of EPCOT.

The Current May 2026 Schedule

Here's where things stand for Extended Evening Hours in May so far:

Monday, May 4: Disney's Animal Kingdom
Wednesday, May 6: Magic Kingdom
Monday, May 11: Disney's Hollywood Studios
Wednesday, May 13: Disney's Animal Kingdom

The calendar hasn't been published beyond May 13 yet, so it's unclear whether the pattern will continue.

During Extended Evening Hours at Hollywood Studios, the following attractions are scheduled to operate:

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

Extended Evening Hours at Disney's Animal Kingdom

What's Open at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom's Extended Evening Hours lineup remains the same four attractions:

Avatar Flight of Passage
Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain
Na'vi River Journey
Zootopia: Better Zoogether!

Select food, beverage, and merchandise locations will be available at both parks during the extended window.

Who Qualifies

Extended Evening Hours is available to registered guests at Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, and other select hotels including the Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin, Swan Reserve, and Shades of Green.

People used it as a "burner" LL to unlock Tier 1 selections, and because of the fact that you can tap into LL 5 min early, Early Entry guests could tap in before the park opened to non-resort guests, giving them a head start on picking up a 2nd Tier 1 LL.

In light of the After Hours at DHS on the 14th, that’s interesting that they decided to do EEH there. I know there’s also an After Hours at MK on the 11th, so they’ve “run out” of parks to use! I assume maybe it takes less CMs to staff DHS.

These EEH have really thrown off our planning…! We expected (and semi-planned for) EPCOT on Monday and MK on Wednesday, so have had to shift everything around. Hopefully back to normal the week after for our second week!
