The 2015 D23 EXPO was a huge event for Walt Disney World, with major announcements made for Walt Disney World, including both Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land.

But what was missing?

Disney's Hollywood Studios

Speculation around the future of Disney's Hollywood Studios continues, with the announcements falling short of the complete rebirth of the Studios. The future of the Streets of America and 'Lights, Motors, Action Stunt Show' continues to remain a mystery, along with giving the park a new name. Cars Land and Monsters Inc. are frequently mentioned, but will they ever happen?

Epcot

Over at Epcot, many fans were hoping to see a plan to replace three of the aging Future World pavilions with new attractions - Imagination, Universe of Energy, and Wonders of Life. Reflections of Earth, while still a guest favorite, is way past its original 10 year expected lifespan, and for some is due for an update.

Magic Kingdom

Despite the addition of New Fantasyland, the Magic Kingdom continues to be extremely busy throughout the year, and recent rumors have suggested a significant addition to Frontierland may be on the cards. Nothing was announced at D23, but this may well be one for another time.

Water Parks

It has been over 10 years since the last addition to the water parks, with Crush and Gusher opening at Typhoon Lagoon in 2004. With Universal's recent move into the water park business, do the Walt Disney World water parks need to add something new to keep up with the new competition?

Poll

So we want to hear from you - what would you like to have seen announced? Let us know in the poll.

Future World overhaul (New JII, UoE, WoL, Spaceship Earth ending, CommuniCore buildings restored w/ proper paint scheme etc.) A name that is Not Disney-Hollywood Adventure Ratatouille where LMA stands currently (I'm a firm believer in no characters at Epcot, therefore I wouldnt like it at France Pavilion IMHO) Monstropolis (so Laugh Floor can finally close!!) OMD to move to MK I have to be honest about the monorails at WDW (since Monorail fleet replacement was brought up), while they are dated, they are so much better than the ones at Disneyland *ducks and covers*. I went to DLR for the first time recently, and the monorails were cramped, small, hot, barely, if any A/C, and no place to stand. Very uncomfortable. The WDW monorails are spacious and I just gained a better appreciation for the outdated Mark VI. The Mark VII's are cool from the exterior, but I'm more of a fan of how classic VI's look. Just my opinion.

Three words: Matterhorn, Matterhorn, Matterhorn.

What's missing? I couldn't vote for all of them. Each one is easily needed and long overdue. Too bad Disney couldn't decide to show some love for WDW and actually make some serious investment rather than playing around the edges.

So here are my Top 3 items from the poll: 1: Imagination Pavilion - (This includes something new for the Captain EO theater) 2: Monorail update - New fleet that is more efficient and easier to maintain. and automated. 3: WOL - I don't know what to put in here... but it needs some fresh thinking. But I question whether it is even visible enough to get foot traffic? Its kinda in a secluded place that unless you look on the map, you really don't see it from the central hub. Cars land.... don't even go there. I don't want it on the east coast. Why? Well let's see... Radiator Springs was set in the western part of the country, so Anaheim is a perfect place for it. I'm also tired of seeing replicated items on both coasts. Don't get me wrong... I loved it when I went to Calif a couple years ago, but please leave it there and put something unique in Florida. I also don't want have one more thing to compare between Anaheim and LBV. Aside from Luigi's tires, they got everything right with that land. So please don't bring it to FL and make a cheap copy.

One item that wasn't on the poll, and I know its beating a dead horse, is an announcement that the Yeti will be repaired and restored to its original glory. Still praying that once Pandora & RoL are online, the Yeti will get long overdue attention.

I would also like to hear about an updated monorail fleet as long as it came with new routes being added.

I wish you could set up a poll where you can pick your top 3 items & rank them and rank them in order of importance. There were a lot of items on that poll... but I guess its clear where the interest is, based on the results so far.

Homecoming for Dreamfinder at the Imagination pavilion.

When we went to DW in January (a low season time mind you), they had multiple issues with the monorails and actually didn't even run them one night! They definitely need a huge upgrade, we were stuck on one at the end of the night for 45 minutes and there were people who were waiting even longer that that. It was very very poor form for Disney, especially since my children all wanted to ride it more!

I think we deserved an inside look into DHS future. I remember Disney not being shy when it came to revealing the overhaul of DCA. I'm also wondering if there's going to be any distinctive differences between WDW and Disneyland's versions of Star Wars Land. They displayed the same concept art to represent both resorts, very vivid pieces of art I might add too. Let's see how it turns out... 7 years from now.

It is 100% worth it.

I feel like this may be beating a dead horse, but why have they not updated EO?!? I'm so sick of that being there, it's truly disgusting and I doubt Walt would have kept it after all the scandal around Jackson! It just really upsets me that it has stayed as long as it has in its return. I mean, how hard is it to create a new movie to fill the space while you wait for your overhaul?!? So frustrating.
