I wonder, with these extended discounts, does Tables in Wonderland still pay out? It can't be used on top of the AP discount, correct?

↩ replying to PrincessMiaIt's not on top and for our family TIW was no longer worth it. TIW does include alcohol but also a 18% tip. We usually tip 20% unless the service is poor so it's nice to have the option to give something lower (which is rare). It's pretty much a wash but with the price of TIW going up, it just wasn't worth it.

any word on the merch discount?

↩ replying to aladdin2007Looks like it will remain at 20% as well. No official announcement but looking at the AP site it shows the 20%. I'd be surprised if they continued one but not the other.

↩ replying to disneygeek90I know right, seems to be working,,,but that's the accountants probably watching it month by month.

↩ replying to PrincessMiaObviously the answer is "It depends". But for us, it does not. We don't drink alcohol, so it would take a lot of dining to make up the $150 from the incremental discount the TiW card offers over the AP.

↩ replying to aladdin2007I wouldn't be surprised to see it return in January. It's made them money.

↩ replying to durangojimI was wondering what they were going to do. Honestly my first few years as an AP we barely ate at the parks, and only purchased merch at the two Character Outlets. This past year though, we’ve strategically increased our spending because of the discounts at certain QS locations. Also pulled the trigger on a few shirts I could never stomach buying before.

↩ replying to NearTheEarsWe’ve actually bought way more stuff through the parks app. No tax and free shipping combined with 20% off has allowed my wife to purchase a bunch of jewelry that she wouldn’t have otherwise.

↩ replying to durangojimHmm, haven’t even considered that. I just assumed that just sent stuff back to your room if you were onsite.

I am happy they extended this promotion. Wonder if they will do the one month free if you buy an AP again, that seemed like a nice perk. Got me to buy a season pass.
I do wish the discount applied to all eateries and snack locations. Seems like I forget half the time I have the discount and when I do remember like for a Dole whip it doesn't apply. I am pretty sure there is enough mark up on the churros and Dole whips to have the discount apply. I wish cast members were more consistent with asking if you have a discount. Some do, some don't. Little too complicated right now where it doesn't really have to be.

Hmm the attendance numbers must really be off if WDW is extending AP Discounts.
Good job folks keep up the pressure by not purchasing admission media for WDW no matter how low the costs go
Attendance is down what 2% vs 2016 let's make it 5% this time next year and really make DIS understand we the fans are unhappy and will not give them money until they reverse course on removing the value from a WDW vacation.
Because for all the bad press as long as DIS is making money its all good but when revenue and profits drop. That's when Disney starts to pay attention.
The only power fans have over Disney is to not buy their products.
