A virtual queue will be in place for the runDisney Merchandise Shop and runDisney-themed Brooks Running shoes on the first day of the 2026 runDisney Health & Fitness Expo, Thursday, April 16, at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

The virtual queue covers access to the AdventHealth Arena, where both the merchandise shop and Brooks Running shoe purchase area are located. Once inside, you can try on Brooks shoes before entering the main floor to purchase merchandise and footwear.

Merchandise is subject to availability and may sell out.

When to join

There are two opportunities to join the virtual queue on April 16:

  • 8:30 am
  • 1:00 pm

You can join from your hotel room or home, up to approximately 45 miles from Walt Disney World Resort.

How to join

You'll need the My Disney Experience app with location services turned on.

  1. Open the app, tap the hamburger menu (?) and select "Virtual Queues"
  2. Tap "Join Virtual Queue" and select "runDisney Merchandise Shop and runDisney-themed Brooks Running shoes"
  3. Select your shopping party (up to 6 guests). All party members must be on your My Disney Experience Family & Friends list before joining
  4. If spots are available, you'll see a confirmation screen with an estimated wait time. This includes any remaining time before the Expo opens at 10:00 am, so don't be concerned if the wait appears long
  5. You'll receive a push notification when it's your party's turn. Tap it to view your digital entry code. You'll have one hour to arrive at AdventHealth Arena
  6. On arrival, follow signs to the check-in area and show your digital entry code, MagicBand, MagicBand+, or Disney MagicMobile pass to a Cast Member

Important details

  • Gold and Platinum Club runDisney Members do not need to join the virtual queue - they have separate early shopping windows on April 16
  • The virtual queue is only required on Thursday, April 16. The merchandise shop and Brooks shoes are open to all guests on subsequent Expo days without a virtual queue
  • If you can't locate your digital entry code, find it in the app under the hamburger menu > "Virtual Queues"
  • Visuals of the exclusive runDisney-themed Brooks shoes will be on display throughout the Expo

The 2026 runDisney Health & Fitness Expo runs April 16-18 at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Saw @Rteetz this morning! Hopefully tomorrow I'm near the start corrals/bib check.

It has zero impact on me, but they did acknowledge Perfect on the bibs this year after saying they wouldn't. Not the first time, so not sure why anyone's surprised, but some aren't happy.

Does anyone know if the busses to the Expo will be running before the early access times for club rundisney members? The site just mentions 9:30 before general entry but early starts at 8:00. Edit: no busses that early, uber it is.

I absolutely do understand differing opinions. My issue is with thinking that all the races are female focused when they are not. Look at this year's Springtime. Zootopia - neutral theme Winnie the Pooh - neutral theme Inside Out - neutral theme Aladdin - this one could be debatable but Jasmine is not included in what they have shown just Genie and Aladdin. Wine & Dine Aristocats - this one could be debated I suppose as well Three Caballeros - neutral Mary Poppins - could be debated but probably leans female Grumpy - neutral if not more male Marathon Weekend - all seem pretty neutral to me Pluto Chip & Dale Donald & Daisy Mickey & Minnie Goofy Dopey I am failing to see how outside of princess themes do not appeal to all ages, genders, etc. I am a huge Star Wars fan myself but that's more niche than what they have been doing with the other race weekends.

Yet, the Star Wars races seemed to appeal to everyone and didn't lean more toward men or women. Please realize people are going to have different opinions and thoughts. Try to understand people have differing opinions.

The "core" line has some nice polos usually, but agreed. When every model is a female showcasing the new looks, it is pretty obvious. It would be nice to have some men style cut tanks and running shorts.

I don't see how the themes for the races outside of Princess do not appeal to all ages, and genders. That statement makes no sense to me. However, I will agree that merchandise does lack for men. That said, the vast majority of runners are female for every race weekend. It's always been that way for the most part.

The to the point answer is NO. Since this thread is about the Springtime Surprise races I will simply state I prefer the old Star Wars Dark Side / Light Side theme better that appealed to all kinds of fans, all ages and genders. The races are what they are, distance races, and as a runner it is enjoyable to run inside the Disney property. That said, the theming now does not lean toward the masculine.

Does this company even market to men anymore?
