The new Party Pass will give access to most party nights, excluding October 31 2019.

Pricing is $299 plus tax for ages 10 and above, and $284 plus tax for ages 3-9. It should soon be available for purchase at Guest Services or any ticket window, but not online. I read at some point that day that it was not. I’m not sure if that changed at all as the day went on.

drizgirlAug 19, 2019

I never heard. Was it officially "sold out"?

DisneyDreamer08Aug 19, 2019

For what it’s worth, I read a handful of reviews for the first party. All stated it felt overly crowded, character lines were super long, and that 5 hours wasn’t nearly enough time to do everything 🤷‍♀️ So it seems it’s the same old same old.

Ocam's razor says Disney is willing to oversell a few parties if needed. "Sold out" isn't capacity per the fire marshal. It's an arbitrary internal number they never release anyway. It's only the other guests who suffer.

Eh, actuaries/statisticians would probably love to get their teeth on that problem. But I'd suspect it's something like this. They limit the pass to X tickets sold. Then hold back X tickets per party date. If they haven't sold the X number of passes, then they sell the remainders at day of. Alot of times you have been able to get day of tickets, even for sold out events, in some quantity. And with their volume of data on visits, I bet that they have a reasonable model to estimate how many pass holders (or any time) come to an event on a certain day. So they can do a reasonable job of estimating how many spots they would need to hold based on sales, and not increasing the actual number of guests in park. Whether or not they choose to do so is a different question.

I was wondering if he was going to pull a similar stunt to last year. Did anyone buy into his services?

RSoxNo1Aug 18, 2019

I wonder if Kenny the Pirate will get someone to buy this for him.

If you wanted to see and do everything on offer at a party night now this option will allow you to do it without having to spend a small fortune buying multiple tickets. I know several guests here in the UK who are seriously thinking of getting this ticket.

-too many people in the park, feels crowded -make extra ticket event, hard capacity cap -sell extra season passes to extra ticket event -too many people in the park, feels crowded 🏄‍♂️

For the record. My comment was not aimed at you.

peter11435Aug 17, 2019

But apparently not one with grammar or common sense.

We live in an odd world my friend.

eddie104Aug 17, 2019

What a odd comment. 🤔
