2025 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Nearly Sold Out - Five Dates Left

The flood of sellouts continues for the 2025 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom, with only five nights still available for purchase.

At this same point in 2024, six party dates were left on the calendar. That year, the entire event was sold out by September 24, 2024. If the pattern holds, 2025 is on track to once again sell out completely before October even begins.

Remaining 2025 Dates Available

As of today, the following nights are still open for purchase:

  • September: 21, 23
  • October: 19, 23, 28

All other dates have reached capacity.

It's not even half-way through September.

Don't tell me there's no FOMO going on here...
Five more dates to go….

I see the day I chose is not yet sold out….
Interesting.

It would be helpful to distinguish between two types of FOMO...

1. Scarce resources cause people to plan ahead so they don't miss out on the thing they were going to go to anyway. Since the events do sell out, those who plan to go, grab a reservation sooner than later so as not to miss out.

2. Scarce resources cause people who *didn't* plan on going now feel they might get left out of what *might* be a good time. And so there is psychological pressure to buy into the event even if they originally had no plans on going, but are now psyched up to join the crowd.

It seems some people like to posit that #2 is the case. And through torturous leaps of reality-denying mental gymnastics, they buy into and promulgate the conspiracy that WDW is faking sell-out dates to get people to join in for Fear Of Missing Out whatever this is.

Scenario #1 is the reality.

This isn't specifically party related, but did Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios just not get any special food this year?

Is the Sid lunchbox tart supposed to be Halloween? That was all I could find.

My cycle stopped 15 years ago. Prices started getting higher than we were willing to pay in 2010. Never went back. And it would have been $300-ish for my family then. Today, same number of people, same general time frame? $1600.
Oct 24 is now sold out

Here’s my tale of the tape

Hallomajiggie in wdw in 2010

Xmas in wdw in 2014

Hallomajiggie in Disneyland in 2016

Hallomajiggie (last minute Crisis mode) in Wdw in 2019

Star Wars thingie in Disneyland in 2025

…I’m good. Plenty for this cowboy…who of course is angry, hates Disney, and too cheap to pay them anything 😎

Did Bob assure you that doesn’t happen?

Or was it the fbi/postal inspector? 🤔

And you should take your game to the next level and buy into dvc instead of spending $2,000 on pop century a year…

How’s a concrete cell at riviera or a trailer in river country sound to you? 🤔
October 3 is now showing as sold out.

Dates with tickets still available:
September: 28, 30
October: 26
Getting down to the last three dates…..

It really, really, really bothers you that some people don't hate Disney, doesn't it?

The main thing is that it doesn't matter to Disney. They just keep on going.
Disney’s sharp pencil people when MNSSHP tickets aren’t sold out well in advance of the end of September:

It’ll likely beat last year’s sell out date but not by a lot. Need that ticket revenue to make sure things look great for the next quarterly meeting.
