If you stay to riiiiiiight up until party time, you'll also hear over the loudspeaker that the party is sold out.

jpedenOct 23, 2022

They consistently have had signs up this week that the party is sold out at MK so it appears that was a hurricane related exception only. It is good to know that sold out means sold out and they aren’t trying to add capacity at the last minute. It was a much more enjoyable party than in years past I will say.

They can be bought at Disney Springs. After the hurricane at least.other parks had them too at GS.

I ended up asking again later that day and tickets were available for a period of time after lunch. I also shared that photo on an AP FB group and some people purchased tickets. I'm not sure if it has happened since. Good Luck!

Assuming the photo below is accurate, it looks like they did it on 10/4, which may or may not have been hurricane related, depending on your definition of hurricane related. There were other parties after the hurricane and before this one that did not offer this option. If they do offer it, it would only be at MK guest relations. When I bought a last minute ticket that first party after the hurricane I was told by DHS Guest relations that MK was the only place that could do it outside of the app. I was able to buy it online (in front of the CM), however I’m not sure how accurate that information from the CM was as another poster was able to obtain a ticket at Epcot guest relations that morning. Probably an issue of certain CM’s not knowing/ not wanting to do it. Anyway, if you’re gonna give it a go I would advise going to MK in the morning, as there would likely be a very limited number of tickets, if any.

I don't believe that has happened, but not 100%.

I know this tends to vary by night but has anyone noticed if they’ve been selling tickets day-of to the sold out parties outside of the hurricane affected nights? We are heading down tomorrow and while we have tickets for Friday, we may end up wanting to go tomorrow as well if there were tickets available.

I agree. When I attended the party a few weeks ago, I only witnessed 1 group using DAS at Haunted Mansion. It certainly wasn't being used (or abused) enough to create issues with wait times. I would hope that their current DAS process prevents most attempts at abusing the system, anyway, whether during a party or normal park hours.

ToTBellHopOct 11, 2022

It’s used extensively but that doesn’t mean abused. I think you notice it more during parties because you don’t expect it and honestly don’t know the ratio of G+vs. DAS using it during the day. Lines move more quickly at a party, regardless.

HauntedPirateOct 11, 2022

He doesn’t, but the voices in his head have him convinced it is.

G00fyDadOct 10, 2022

I'm curious how he knows it it's being "abused".

Hawg GOct 10, 2022

He means it's being abUSED

MagicHappens1971Oct 10, 2022

What is the meaning of this post? Yes DAS is available during the parties

G00fyDadOct 10, 2022

What are you talking about? People using DAS during the party? They've been able to as far as I have seen. It is Genie+ that is not able to be used during the parties.
