A new Sam Eagle popcorn bucket is heading to both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort as part of the America 250 celebration.

Disneyland has a confirmed launch date of June 30. Walt Disney World has no date announced yet, though Disney has confirmed it's coming later this summer.

The bucket features Sam Eagle — the patriotic character from The Muppets — posed at a podium complete with patriotic bunting. He's wearing an Uncle Sam-style top hat in red, white, and blue, and the bucket comes with a Disney Parks lanyard strap in a stars-and-stripes design.

When the Sam Eagle bucket arrives, keep these in mind:

  • There is a limit of two per person per transaction
  • It will be available while supplies last

No specific locations have been confirmed at either resort yet.

The Sam Eagle bucket is part of a broader Fourth of July food rollout at both resorts for America's 250th anniversary. Red, white, and blue-themed food items are available across Walt Disney World parks and resort hotels starting June 15, with the bucket joining the lineup later in the season.

The fireworks were nice. Epcot was obviously better than the super wordy Magic Kingdom show. The video of Epcot including luminous and skipped that part.

Since Disney seems to be on a Muppets boom lately, I'm still hoping for the full, glorious 3 hour cut of A Salute to all Nations, But Mostly America. Cutting it down to a minute and a half again would be distinctly unpatriotic.

I really hope they do Golden Dream. That's my favorite to hear in an echo. It gives me chills hearing that harmony.

All of them will be. It will be the final song of each performance. And they will do different songs as the finale for the different sets.

I just need to know which performance will be the echo performance. The blog post kind of infers it could be multiple performances.

My all time favorite echo song is when they do the battle hymn but you simply can’t go wrong!

I may do something out of character for me - Find a livestream from Epcot tomorrow for the Voices of Liberty echo performance.

So true, it’s a shame Disney didn’t film a new Soarin’, perhaps over America to commemorate the 250th.
