wonder if it is because the Cool Kid Summer stuff ran into the beginning of F&WF (they only opened the Festival Favorites booth end of September) .... so to have time to get it decorated prior to start of F&WF they would have had to stop the Goofy stuff pretty early Probably still could have done something small ... oh well - still think some murals on the walls or maybe even projected murals or something would go a long way Still thing the space is super functional and welcome at EPCOT (every park should have a space like that) but ambiance could be improved a bit

They set it up nice for flower and garden. Wish they’d use the big pavilion between Canada and England again. Was great with the piano playing and 4 different venues for food and drink plus to cool off. Big merch area too and was never packed. They used to have stuff in the horizons bldn but I think someone said the roof was no good and was leaking. F&W was ok this year, 2 times we went it was not crowded at all on a Sunday. First time that there was no one waiting for pizza at the take out window in Italy and hightops open. A lot of the food this year was difficult to eat in that you had to have a table and use a fork and knife. Best wine was in Spain. It was a Grenache that was great. Went for seconds

Yes, it's back to its generic student union layout. Air conditioning and space to rest is much appreciated but lack of any festival-specific effort is disappointing.

Agreed. I would say goofy core was even a nice improvement to give kids atleast something else to do in FW. I wouldn’t mind also getting in some new innoventions like games and stuff. Just something else to make the area look better. Honestly it could even go with a lighting change. Hell, put that scrapped tree from the Epcot redesign in there in a fun artsy version of it and you can keep a lot of the area. In hindsight, despite how good it looked maybe it’s best we didn’t get the festival center as that would have been a huge empty area (but it would atleast have a view so :/) The building definitely needs SOMETHING that could be easily switched out. I think a merchandise kiosk, activity area, and display section could look good still. Could even do a meet and greet of rare characters that switches out for the festivals. How do we not have a remy meet and greet for F&W yet. Have Remy and Emilie meet there for F&W and other characters would be perfect for the other festivals. Then during the regular park times, give us an actual Wall E, Baymax, etc meet and greet

I liked what they did with the space at the last few festivals, but that's a signficant letdown to keep it diet format.

AidenRodriguez731Oct 13, 2025

Based on what i saw, it’s seemingly back to regular. Hoping that eventually this “regularly is something a little more unique. Honestly goofy core was a fun use for the building. I would keep it being a nice indoor seating but perhaps split it up with some dividers and give a small merchandise kiosk, a display area, and an activity section that would all have a revolving theme. During the rest of the year, there would be a statue/display that fits Epcot. Maybe introduce a few cast members who could do a craft or something with kids. A small stage or character area would also go a nice way.

Does anyone if they did anything at Communicore Hall for Food and Wine? (It doesn't seem like it). Is it back to the generic Diet Communicore Hall?

wdwmagicAug 29, 2025

Yeah there is very little to actually do. It's installed by a landscaper sponsor, and seems this must be what they want to push.

This is quite literally the lamest playground I’ve ever seen.

JohnDAug 29, 2025

Currently, Grab & Goof which is part of Kid's Summer.

Spookie2010Aug 29, 2025

Anyone know what's currently being served in Communicore Hall? Last year, we had Macatizers and Festival Favorites. I know that, recently, it featured a Goofy Summer Kids Menu - Are they still serving that? Did the opening of the Food and Wine Festival change that?

TheMaxReboAug 29, 2025

Used and after 1 pm ticket today and was able to hit up 6 booths - France and America had long lines but the others were rather short - was expecting more being opening day. Our favorite booth was America, the seafood roll was really good and pretty substantial so though very fairly priced at $8.75. the pudding cake was really and I enjoyed the beer flight. We liked Spain a lot too - and very large portions there (though we were getting pretty full by that point). Also really like the Karaage at Japan. Korean BBQ Wings and Cider Flight at Brew-wings Lab were also hits.

Welcome to tariff hell.

KDM31091Aug 28, 2025

Is it just me or is the merch particularly expensive this time around? Yes it’s Disney, yes it’s always been expensive, but $40 for a little wine cup is insane.
