The 2025 Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade returns Christmas morning with a lineup of performances, celebrity appearances, and a look at what's ahead for Disney in 2026.

2025 Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade

You can watch the parade on ABC at 10:00 a.m. EST / 9:00 a.m. CST / 5:00 a.m. MST / 5:00 a.m. PST, with streaming available on Disney+, Hulu, and the Disney YouTube channel starting at 11:00 a.m. EST / 8:00 a.m. PST. The special will remain available to stream through January 4, 2026.

This year brings a returning host and two first-timers:

Alfonso Ribeiro hosts for the second year.
Ginnifer Goodwin joins as co-host.
Maia Kealoha reports from the parade route.

The ABC Christmas Day Parade features musical acts filmed across Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Aulani, and EPCOT. Performers include:

Gwen Stefani -- "White Christmas" from Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Resort
Coco Jones -- "This Christmas" from Millennium Falcon in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios
Iam Tongi -- "The Christmas Song" from Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa
Lady A -- "Winter Wonderland" from World Celebration Gardens at EPCOT
Nicole Scherzinger -- "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" from Sleeping Beauty Castle

The broadcast began in 1983 and has grown into an annual tradition for many households. This year includes:

Some of the applause no doubt comes from all the audience members you can't see, standing behind the barriers (at least for the WDW segments). Although in the segments I saw, it wasn't exactly heavy (as many of us were trying to figure out who these folks were).

I’m still recovering from doing exactly that. It was touch and go for a while, being so close to alcohol poisoning, but I managed to pull through. The doubling down on consecutive segments with mentions really did me in, that was a mistake I won’t make again. 😎 (Sarcasm, since I’m sure many won’t get the joke)

I think you can make a drinking game out of this special. Every time they plug one of their parks, their ships, their hotels, or plug anything that that’s coming to their parks, You have to take a drink. And why on gods earth do they have to add all that extra audience applause?!

I do wish maybe next year they would update the parade substantially. I don't think they will but it would be really nice to see it get an overhaul. It is at least 10 to 15 years out of date except for character changes...

I gave it a chance (at least part way through having it on in the background) .....after avoiding these specials for years for very good reasons. It actually wasn't terrible. Some pleasant surprises. I admit my bias...I doubt I could ever enjoy it nearly as much as the 80s-90s

I'm always annoyed people confuse this film with the much better Scrooge (1970). That film is a classic, and far underappreciated in the US. A good number of people involved in that film have connections to Disney actually (and it's a very good cast too)... Don't watch the Netflix version it's not as good. Very surprised Disney didn't remake it and Netflix did, it would have been a big hit in the UK and Europe. A song I've never heard of and do not want to hear again. I know the classics are overplayed, but there are better Christmas songs that are underexposed in the US. Granted, her voice makes is difficult to not give a pop-ish squelching (which rules out more theatrical songs like from Scrooge as I mentioned above), but God that was not necessary.
