Disney has announced that starting November 29, 2024, EPCOT’s hours will shift to 9:00 am to 9:30 pm.

This additional 30 minutes aligns with the beginning of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, a seasonal event featuring various holiday festivities, performances, and food offerings. Early Entry and Extended Evening hours will increase this to 8:30 am - 11:30 pm on select days.

Running from November 29 through December 30, 2024, the International Festival of the Holidays will celebrate holiday traditions from around the world. Highlights of the festival include:

  • Candlelight Processional: A retelling of the Christmas story featuring a celebrity narrator, massed choir, and a 50-piece orchestra.
  • JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season: A vibrant tribute to Christmas and Kwanzaa through Gospel, R&B, and holiday music.
  • Meet Santa Claus: Guests can visit with Santa at the Odyssey Pavilion.
  • Holiday Storytellers: Storytellers from around the world share holiday lore and legends in World Showcase.

The festival also features Holiday Kitchens, where guests can enjoy seasonal dishes and treats from various cultures, the Holiday Cookie Stroll, and Living with the Land – Glimmering Greenhouses, a festive version of the popular attraction. Families can participate in Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt, which sends guests on a quest around World Showcase to help Olaf find lost holiday traditions.

The answer you’re looking for is Christmas Shoes.

Aww, it all depends on the arrangement. The Little Drummer Boy has seen some epic versions that are brilliant. Also, The Twelve Days of Christmas has never been the same since I heard the version on the Shelter (homeless charity) compilation It's Not Like Christmas, by the Joseph and Mary Chain, a "supergroup". This version manages to be classic, tingly but at the same time alternative and hilarious. It doesn't overstay its welcome for me. Info Song

It’s a hard choice between C and D for me. Then there’s that awful song about the donkey.

This is a trick question, right? It has to be C. How many times can any sane human tolerate hearing Pa-rum-pa-rum-rum (sic)?

Which Christmas song is obnoxiously too long: A. All the verses of Good King Wenceslaus B. The Twelve Days of Christmas C. The Little Drummer Boy D. Even the tiniest snippet of Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer

that Balcony would probably have to be completely restructured to hold the weight of crowds, then you would need ADA compliance to get people up there....So it would have to be a very costly viewing area....Now if they tore down the building and built a brand new Tianas Palace (from the Movie) they could design it with Parade viewing balconies for upcharge Beignet parties...and the new building could be purpose built for this with elevators etc.

There's a lot of things I'm surprised Disney doesn't do that would get them higher profits for little work. Special parade viewing on the balcony in Frontierland would sell out quick and you could up charge a good bit.

I have always thought this was just an amazing thing to experience if you can. The first time we went to the holiday party it was when they were filming the holiday special that comes out around thanksgiving. Not only is the event itself magical, but to see them filming on stage during the day, and then a month or so later after we were home, to see the special and the kids faces when they realized we were there when it was happening, a very cool trip indeed.

Glimmering Greenhouses is amazing. I am pretty sure the people that work at that attraction do the decorations (not a special decorating team). I am looking forward to this. Only then will I truly be Living with the Land.

I think mine was $25 in 2019.
