The 2020 Epcot International Flower and Garden gets underway March 4 for 90 days of flowers, music, food and more.

Headlining the topiary displays this year, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Pluto wield shovels and other tools to help with the EPCOT transformation now under way.

Donald and Daisy topiaries crop up at World Showcase Plaza for a photo op with mischievous nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie.

Dozens of additional character topiaries including Belle, Beast, Kermit, Miss Piggy, Buzz Lightyear and more dot the festival landscape, along with dozens of Disney-crafted “flower towers” and beds of multi-colored blooms.

Remy joins the France pavilion ahead of that pavilions expansion opening later this year.

The popular dragon moves from China to Japan with a new look.

  • New Outdoor Kitchens, include the new Magnolia Terrace at The American Adventure with gulf-region comfort food including a Southern Seafood Boil and Grilled Oysters prepared on site for guests to view. Trowel & Trellis hosted by IMPOSSIBLE Foods offers a plant based menu.
  • The Garden Rocks Concert Series will run three times daily featuring chart-toppers of the 1960s, ’70s, ’80s and ’90s on the America Gardens Theatre stage. That’s 270 concerts presenting new acts like Mark Wills and High Valley, and returning fan favorites spanning multiple genres.
  • Bo Peep in top topiary form will round up her sheep and other Toy Story pals at Bo Peep’s Playtime Training Grounds topiary garden and playground.

  • This year’s Goodness Garden Butterfly House moves to a new location between The Land and Imagination!
  • The Royal Tea Garden Tour returns each festival morning at the United Kingdom pavilion. For a small fee, guests can follow a knowledgeable guide through a tranquil tea garden setting to learn the history and artistry behind growing and blending tea. A post-tour treat of tea and scones is included. The shorter, complimentary English Tea Garden Tour presented by Twinings of London also will be offered on select days.

There is no date yet for any reopening. June 1 is a a hopeful date, but as we have seen, the situation changes almost daily. Status of Flower and Garden is unknown at this point unfortunately.

So with the presumed reopening of the parks being 1 June {is this just presumed or confirmed ?} thanks to the reservations Disney is now accepting, I take it the Flower and Garden Festival for 2020 is now over thanks to COVID-19 ? Or will it continue into July ? I havent been to it yet and I really want to see the butterfly house again, I always go towards the end of it there is also my worry of SSE overhaul beginning while the parks are closed, but thats for another thread

If anyone is missing the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival, here is our 2 minute tour of all the 2020 topiaries.

Is anyone gonna water the flowers while EPCOT is closed?

Josh HendyMar 14, 2020

Possibly because wannabe ebay resellers will do almost anything and tell almost any lie to get their hands on hard-to-get merch? I speculate.

Yes the distribution of the passholder gifts is held to the highest levels of security for some reason.

Why would they walk around without ID? If they got killed think of the trouble identifying the bodies. Might have to send the bands to TDO to get the identity

They are strict with pass holder magnets. An elderly couple just waited in a long line at mouse spot and was turned away because they had no identification. Their argument, all they needed was their magic band. They got nothing.

I'd say it depends on if the building being in a location even though the park is closed counts towards the number of days it can stay up and still be considered temporary.

I don't understand... it's always Festival! Every 79 days, they rotate all the booths one pavilion clockwise so that they're not considered permanent edifices for tax purposes. It's like the Mad Hatter's Tea Par... Hey! The Tea Party appears in the new EPCOT artist's rendering! I discovered the theme of the Summer Festival!

I'm so excited for Simple Plan this weekend! They put on a good show.

It's more general kid friendly. Things that won't offend the chicken nuggets and PB&J crowd. They have had similiar indicators for recent festivals if I recall correctly.
