Real-talk: it’s because they run their spring festival well into 90-degree weather season nowadays, and the flowers look pretty ratty by July. Succulents can handle that weather better.

yep, many succulents used this year. Here is another example:

They had extra once it was learned that BoardWalk guests do not want any more succulents. Also, there was a big sale at Lowe’s and Bob wasn’t willing to pass up on those savings. Lowest prices of the season!

I agree. Plenty of Orange Bird history.

Lots of empty space sadly, I wish they would have done like they did with figment and have some of the history from the 70s of orange bird. They seemed to do the bare minimum here sadly.

The Orange Bird merch has a 70s vibe. Groovy.

there is this neat little garden (new to me) over in Japan (behind the bonsai trees) where water flows down bamboo troughs that move w/ the weight of the water to hit or activate things like a drum, wind chimes, tambourine, really neat stuff to watch and chill (for me anyway):

Not reading particularly positive reviews of the food, unfortunately. Only a good eats so far.

I’ve never been (going for the first time next week!) but yes, I believe it’s a tented area you walk through with live butterflies.

Is it an indoor garden for the butterflies? There's on in Indy that is so wondering what to expect.
