I am signed up for the half but just moved my trip a day earlier today to maybe cheer the 10K. Never done that before so why not?

I actually signed up for the Barbados Swim Weekend! So I will be swimming instead of running! And we all know the entire trip is a fraction of the runDisney trip, so that is good for this HS teacher.

That's a solid move. I've got flights and rooms on points right now but if nothing drops in the next month I will have to give up as well.

Well I officially cancelled my Pop room and will no longer be checking for bib releases. I have come to terms that I will not be competing this year. I booked a room in Barbados instead, and am looking forward to a nice vacation. Good luck to all those competing!

I had the experience of a charity getting more bibs, but found out only by reaching out directly to them and being lucky enough to catch them right after they got more bibs. I was able to get 2 challenge bibs this was back in April. At this point likely best option is really last minute when charity fund raising becomes due and people start missing their obligations

Completely agree! This is the only race (the half) that has not had more bib drops and posted openings. I am still trying my best and staying positive.

I'm starting to think they are just releasing bibs back to the charities and their waitlists now and no longer posting them online. I saw a few posts online about hope story and others getting additional marathon weekend bibs, but nothing updated for me on the discord channels there. I don't think it's possible that everybody who signed up with a charity is meeting the fundraising minimums all of a sudden. In prior years there have alwasy been multiple bib drops for W&D before now.

I am sorry to hear that. Something with the registration system now. I was shut out of the 2025 Marathon.

It's crazy that no bibs have come up yet for this. I haven't even heard a peep from any of the charities about people dropping out, so even the waitlists must be pretty deep.

i would suspect now you best chance is going to be looking for some charity bibs that may pop up last minute when the due date for full payment arrives and some people do not make their payments. I think that is in late September/Early July but could vary from charity to charity.

surfsupdonJul 06, 2026

I am still shut out from WineDineHalf.

pdude81Jun 03, 2026

Thanks, that's a good idea.

I would recommend checking in with the groups you are on a wait list for. I was on several and happened to reach out to one of them and they told me i was in luck that they just got several more challenge bibs. Was able to get 2, but did so before the went out to the wait list, or at least before they contacted me that more were available.

pdude81Jun 02, 2026

I'm also looking for a charity bib for Wine and Dine. Preferably the challenge but would also go for the 10k. I'm on a few waitlists but if anybody hears of anything feel free to drop a note or DM.
