How fast do guest tickets for the after party sell out? For or against adding it to the same transaction as my bib? I plan to sign up for the challenge so I just need tickets for the non-runner members in my group.

I might sit this one out and go for Marathon Weekend again. Though I really like the 10K and Half Themes.

It would be nice if you could select your start time when registering for the 5K.

LAKid533 days ago

Nope. Club runDisney members can only register themselves during early registration.

Unfortunately I can't it will not let me change my name. When I logged in all my personal info was already plugged in, I think I had to put in emergency info and then POT info and then a couple boxes.

Does it give you the ability to register me if I ask nicely and give you my payment info? Honestly I do not know.

So far I'm in for the Challenge

I can but haven't just yet. Trying to figure out what I want to do.

Anyone register early?

Rteetz13 days ago

That could be a possibility.

Maybe it’s a plan for the future to try this out small scale and expand?

This isn't just an earlier start time. This is an entire different way of doing the 5K. The first group will go off at 4:30 with groups all the way through 7:30. Your start time will also dictate your arrival time for the race. This is unlike anything runDisney has done prior. So yes it is a weird change when it's just for the 5K and not the rest of the races.

not really. With a 30min earlier start time they could potentially get another couple "flights" of runners for the 5K. Given the 5Ks always sell out in minutes, getting more availability isn't a bad thing.

I agree. I have been running since 2006. Back then, and for years after, races were open for months after and sometimes on race weekend. Sometimes, even available day of. YES, they sold bibs at the expo (and I have been to expos at WWoS baseball field, at Coronado ballroom, at Motion Nightclub, and at Yacht ballroom! Now that all races sell out, very early, I do believe that all races could benefit from more particpants- and Disney could benefit from more Guests! They are leaving money out on the table! Have any of you ever been to an Expo away from the current traditional expo at WWoS? Yacht, Coronado, Motion, Baseball stadium???
