Many dates last year did not sell out.

Looks like they have the cupcake corps out in front of this one with a blogger event today—EDIT yesterday (it took me that long to see it) I'd set my expectations low if they’re hyping it up now

I could be misremembering... I didn't go last year. And I'm gonna wait til the vloggers show how the first night goes this year. DHS is charming Christmastide by itself, without the party, IMO.

It’s possible people just value their party time? We have a reservation but I’m not certain if we’ll keep it. I worry that the party time is pretty short so I want to see the final entertainment schedule and poll the family on what they do/eat— I did CRT at MVMCP a couple years ago and regretted the major waste of time (I want to say about 75 min?). FWIW, I booked our tickets last week, realized I accidentally booked them on Epcot EEH (moments after clicking finalize) and called to change them, and the woman who helped me sort it out said there was “plenty of availability” on both dates.

I thought there were several dates last year that did not sell out?

Ok there looks to be some real tasty stuff at JN. Optimistically excited.

It eventually sold out last year, even with the bad word of mouth over the first night.

The fact that there are still so many Brown Derby reservations available does not seem to bode well for how this thing is selling. Perhaps if Disney hadn’t been so ridiculously cheap with their offerings last year there would be better buzz around this..

I wonder why they are so adverse to rare characters these days? I assume costume maintenance cost or some other weird reason?

See, this would be amazing.

How about Anxiety next to a sign that says how many more shopping days are left?

They should have put Sadness with her. At least that's a unique character. That's my issue with the characters. Not enough unique I can't get any other time.
