Disney fans got their first full look at "Glisten!," the holiday-themed skating show debuting during Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

This event-exclusive performance takes place in front of the Chinese Theatre, showcasing a high-energy mix of skating, choreography, music, and lighting effects designed to bring a winter wonderland to life in the heart of Walt Disney World. Watch below for a full show video of the very first public performance of "Glisten!"

Eight international champion skaters perform synchronized routines and intricate solo acts, all set to a holiday soundtrack blending seasonal favorites with original and classic Disney songs. The music includes beloved tracks like "Be Our Guest" and "When You Wish Upon a Star," including live vocals.

The "Glisten!" show is part of Disney Jollywood Nights, a limited-capacity, ticketed event running on select nights from November 9 through December 21, 2024. Along with the skating show, guests attending Disney Jollywood Nights can enjoy exclusive character encounters, limited-time food and drinks, and shorter wait times for popular attractions.

Did they change anything else? Interesting that they remove a song, although it's not incessively popular so I don't think it'll be missed. I think splitting up those other two makes it a much better show.

Wait until they hear how many bricks make up Cinderella Castle.

You’re a monster.

You'll be surprised to learn I don't have high regard for the modern topiaries that are just chia-fied mannequins!!!

The carousel certainly seems more impressive to me - but all of the displays are fun. Spaceship earth just suffers from the festival center surrounding it :-/ - they may as well have put it in a high school gymnasium.

You defend just about everything they do and this is the hill you’ll die on? I’ll never understand penguins.

i actually don’t remember peace on earth being in the candlelight… but I know they have changed a few things over the years. It’s such a beautiful show, literally worth the price of an Epcot admission.

Hallelujah and joy to the world were put back to being separate songs now, they removed let there be peace on earth, and the outro VOL arrangement was altered a bit

Which ones? I didn’t notice anything different but maybe I missed something.

I didn’t say it wasn’t! I think it’s amazing! But another poster was talking about the structures

It’s still impressive though. Let’s see your attempts at it if you think it’s so easy! 😉

Disney should just paste sheets of gingerbread to the entirety of their resorts and claim they're all gingerbread hotels!!
