There are some lights for overnight visibility and doing work. But there is not adequate lighting for operation and guest use. Virtually no show lighting.

Do they not ever do any after-hours maintenance, cleaning, etc. at Blizzard Beach?

Cooldip20 days ago

No lights at BB. I once stayed in the park as long as I could in late August, and it got very dark there.

No, I absolutely agree with you.

Wonder if they'll ever try this event at Blizzard Beach. Do they have the nighttime lighting infrastructure there?

My siblings and I did it. We love the water parks (Blizzard Beach is the superior one though) and this was the way to squeak it in as part of a last hurrah trip. We enjoyed it. Since it was so empty we were able to take over an alcove that overlooked the water and make it our own spot. I don't know if I would recommend it, though. With the DJ and lack of sun you lose a lot of the enjoyable atmosphere the water parks have. Plus the character situation was misleading; no characters were meetable, they just danced (and Woody wasn't there at all) and Partysaurus wasn't even a proper character, he was an inflatable with a speaker to occasionally spout a line.

Yeah, we loved this event. One member of the. group doesn't even like water parks, but loved the night time aspect and thought it was a blast. They should consider running this whenever weather permits.

We went once and will likely go again. We are not from Florida and the heat can be a lot for us during the day. The temperature in the evening hours is better.

We have done this event a handful of times when our summer trip hasn't coincided with a DVC moonlight magic event. Our kids enjoy the "party" extras with the music and characters and with the discount we have found it worthwhile. As far as the waterparks being dead, we went on the day of our check-in for that perk over the summer and it was most definitely packed for us. Obviously I think overall you are probably right on crowd levels because there is a reason they are giving it away to hotel guests.

H2O Glow is a mouthful. I think H2Glow is more catchy and rolls off the tongue easier. But I guess that's just me.

Shocking, prices start at $85, 10 more than last year.

Do people actually go to this? I know Disney loves to sell their parks twice a day, but it's 3-5 hours for more than the price of a full day and only slightly less or the same as an annual water park pass, but you get ice cream and some characters and DJ and less of chance of getting a sunburn. The waterparks in summer 2025 were pretty dead during the day so the allure of lower wait times is misleading. But like so much of the hard-ticket events it plays on FOMO.
