If anyone is interested, we did the after hours event at DHS last Wednesday - it was a (relatively) spur of the moment trip we did to escape the cold and to see Muppet*Vision 3D one last time - we also ate at Mama Melrose and never had and wanted to before it was gone (glad to check the box but yeah, that place can go lol).

This event was our only park time. Summary of what I did - Fantasmic! was a must do for my oldest and I love it - rest of the family did MMRR, MFSr, and TSM while we saw Fantasmic!

Overall got 8 rides in (longest wait was 18 min for SDD, otherwise basically walk on) plus Mama Melrose and Fantasmic

The event ticket was actually cheaper than a day ticket that day so overall I think it worked out well
Well looky here!

Amazing it “sells out” again within a 12 hours…can you get more “magical” than that?!?!

That’s good to know. Sometimes we go to a waterpark or pool during the day and plan the parks for later. Sounds like this is a good option.

If your focus is doing rides it is a really good option - just won't be able to do most of the shows and note that Muppet*Vision closes at 8 so have to be sure to do that during the mix in time
So like $17 per ride per person? What a steal
Did you leave early? 12:40am, is it not open until 1am?

No, the DHS one is from 9:30 -12:30

But you wouldn't have to buy LLs.

The whole concept is still upside down…but that’s just me (and the declining visitors)
Wow. That works out to about $60 per hour.

I remember when $60 would get you a whole DAY in the park...

Disney is very expensive now.

Not that it makes a huge difference but think you can get in as early as 7:00 which brings the $ per hour down
For our DHS after hours we paid $167 (undercover tourist). Could get in at 7 and event ended at 12:30, so 5.5 hours so works out to right around $30/hour. Which is definitely not cheap, but we did get a lot done (per hour) and no waiting for really anything so definitely trade offs

I wouldn't do one as an add on to a big Disney trip but for a short trip or as part of a larger Orlando trip I think they can make sense
