Victoria & Albert's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has held its Michelin Star for a third consecutive year, with the restaurant again recognised in the MICHELIN Guide's 2026 Florida selection revealed today.

The restaurant first earned its star in 2024, making it the most decorated dining experience in the Walt Disney World Resort.

The guide describes Victoria & Albert's as offering "a kind of magic rarely seen these days," praising the intimate setting and a dining pace it likens to a three-hour waltz led by veteran servers.

Michelin highlights the kitchen's classic foundation and global influences, calling out dishes including tuna with caviar and lychee, king salmon with mole verde, Parisian gnocchi with fontina and date, and venison braised with a juniper and porcini crust alongside sunchoke puree. The water list, coffee and tea service, and wine program also drew praise.

A Michelin Star recognises outstanding cooking, assessed across five criteria: ingredient quality, harmony of flavours, mastery of techniques, the chef's personality as expressed through the food, and consistency across the menu and over time.

Still recommended tho. I dined at Capa for the first time in April and loved it. Hopefully they can return to that status.

Posted this in a different thread... although seems like maybe the price increase to $375 was a mistake? I was curious to put this increase to $375 in perspective with other Michelin-starred prix fixe menus. Obviously not an exhaustive review. I've dined at V&A twice (both times at Chef's Table) and we truly loved both visits. This was 10+ years ago. In particular Chef's Table suits us b/c we're self-aware enough to know we're loud (laughing and stuff - not obnoxious) and we love to ask questions about the food. I know there's a Disney upcharge to be paid, not to mention the location factor, but holding all else equal, for less money I'd for sure pick Le Bernadin and for just a little more would be on my way to the French Laundry. V&A is great but they're not in the 3-Michelin star league. Much like I'd say the Disney deluxe resorts for the price can't really compete with "true" luxury resorts. But, again, I guess that's the Disney tax. No question anyone going to V&A will have a lovely evening. I'd never dissuade anyone who's interested in going. The French Laundry in Napa earned 3 stars (V&A has 1) and is ~$425 Per Se in NYC (another Thomas Keller spot with 3 stars) is ~$425 Le Bernadin in NYC (3 stars and recently on the World's 100 Best list) is ~$350 Eleven Madison Park in NYC (3 stars) is ~$365 Providence in Los Angeles (3 stars) is $375 for a tasting menu and $495 for a chef's tasting menu Alinea in Chicago (recently downgraded to 2 stars from 3) is between ~$190-390 (the $390 is sitting in the kitchen)

Im talking about Starred restaurants in the world. Not just Florida. There are 3 star restaurants in London for example that don't ask the price V&E asks.

I don't know a ton about the system, but my understanding is that the stars aren't an incremental system where you earn another star for improvement but rather they're separate categories/standards. And I think some chefs/restaurateurs make a conscious choice to not progress beyond 1 star based on the concept, style, clientele, and price point they want. I watched a doc series recently on what it's like to be chasing stars and just receiving/maintaining one (assuming Michelin comes to your area, which is another separate issue) is a big accomplishment.

There are only 5 "1 starred" locations in Orlando, one 2 starred, thats it.

It’s time to raise prices again. 😉 You can’t pay too much for Michelin level quality whatever that means. 😉😉

The majority of places that get one don’t ever get a second or especially a third (the highest it goes).

1 star ,but they have higher prices then some 2 & 3 star restaurants.
