Tiffins at Disney's Animal Kingdom has rolled out a significant menu refresh, with changes hitting both lunch and dinner. The updates cover appetizers, mains, and a full dessert overhaul - and the lunch and dinner menus now mirror each other much more closely than before.
Here's a full breakdown of what's new, what's changed, and what's gone.
Appetizers
The Tiffins Signature Bread Service has been refreshed on both menus. Papadam and Ginger-Pear Chutney are out. Onion Kulcha Naan with Coriander Chutney is in. The Pão de Queijo and Thai Curry Milk Bread remain. Price stays at $20.
The Pork Belly Bao Buns get an ingredient change. Cucumber Kimchi and Pickled Green Papaya are replaced by Pickled Cucumber, Green Papaya Slaw, and Cilantro. The dish is now labeled "Korean Barbecue Pork Belly Bao Buns."
The Coconut-Ube Cauliflower Soup has been removed from both menus with nothing replacing it.
Everything else in the appetizer section - Charcuterie and Cheese Board, Gobi Manchurian, The Land Salad - carries over unchanged.
Main Courses
The biggest removals hit both menus equally:
- Surf & Turf ($69) - gone from both lunch and dinner
- Pan-roasted Fish Filet ($48) - removed
- Andean Beef Short Rib - removed
Replacing the Short Rib is a standalone Grilled Beef Tenderloin ($59) with a Peruvian-inspired preparation: Saltado Marble Potatoes, Pearl Onions, Pickled Mushrooms, Tomatoes, Chorizo Vinaigrette, and Huancaina Sauce. You can add Seared Scallops for $23 - which is essentially a build-your-own Surf & Turf at a higher total cost.
The Regional Curry Tasting loses one curry. The Balinese Golden Curry is gone; the dish now offers Thai Green Curry and Indian Red Curry only. Price stays at $38.
The Butter Chicken swaps its Chickpea-Rice Croquette for a Samosa. Everything else on that plate stays the same at $43.
The Oaxacan Pork Duo now specifies "Peanut Salsa Macha" and "Sweet Plantain-Chipotle Sauce" - small wording changes that clarify the preparation.
The Tiffins Signature Burger Prix Fixe remains on the lunch menu at $42.
Desserts
The dessert section is completely new on both menus. The Hazelnut Entremet ($15) and White Chocolate-Orange Crème Brûlée ($16) are both gone. Replacing them:
- African Pot de Crème - Chocolate Pot de Crème, Ethiopian Coffee, Ras el Hanout Pineapple, Pistachio, Chocolate Cookie - $13
- Caramel Flan - Cardamom-scented Caramel, Vanilla Chantilly - $14
The Seasonal Sorbet Trio remains at $11.
Lunch and Dinner Now Similar
One notable structural change: the lunch and dinner menus are now nearly identical. Previously, dinner had exclusive items like the Whole-fried Fish of the Day and the full Surf & Turf that weren't always mirrored at lunch. The new menus list the same dishes at the same prices across both meal periods, with the Tiffins Signature Burger Prix Fixe remaining the only lunch-specific item.
Prices
Most prices are unchanged. The new desserts are slightly cheaper - down from $15-$16 to $13-$14. The Grilled Beef Tenderloin at $59 replaces the Short Rib which ranged from $54-$59 depending on the substitution.
