The Tangierine Cafe in the Morocco Pavilion, which is operated by a third party vendor, is no longer open for either lunch or dinner.

The quick service restaurant reopened along with the rest of EPCOT following the COVID-19 shutdown, but had its last day of operation this past Saturday.

EPCOT has been struggling with attendance since reopening, with most guests choosing Disney's Hollywood Studios for its new attractions, and the Magic Kingdom for its full day of classic rides.

It is likely that the closure is temporary, and like other restaurants will return when attendance levels reach more normal levels.

The closure of Tangierine leaves just a handful of EPCOT quick service locations open to guests:

  • Katsura Grill
  • La Cantina de San Angel
  • Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie
  • Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue
  • Sunshine Seasons

Never been there but it sucks when anything closes for reasons like this.

For quick service, I don’t think it gets better. I’d miss it big time

This isn't just our fave QS in Epcot...I think it's one of the best in all of WDW. Hopefully this is just temporary while crowds are lower, because their lamb shawarma and tabouleh are divine!

Next to Sunshine Seasons, we probably went here the most for a quick service meal of falafel and Casa beer or coffee. Great location to sit at and people watch. I hope it reopens down the line, and much the same way it was.

I agree with you on that! I’m not sure why anyone would want to go there now, but I am really looking forward to all the new stuff.

I wouldn't be surprised if Biergarten closed.

I'm amazed they've not shut almost all of them given how quiet it is. The kiosks are probably sucking up most of the customers anyway. Part of me wishes they'd just close epcot for 6-12 months, crack on with all the construction projects, get all the major refurbs done and have it ready to re-open when the place isn't a ghost town, with a big Epcot relaunch event. The pin traders alone would have a field day. @realBobChapek you can have this one for free ;)

This is part of the reason we decided to cancel our AP's. We would always park hop every day and end up at Epcot at some point for lunch or dinner.

People should be given the choice - not treated as children. We are free adults and can make up our own minds. The current situation - less everything for same cost is untenable.

We really loved that place. The food was delicious.

Aw man, we liked that place!

How do you say Tangierine? I was thinking it was Tan jeer ee en, but I've heard people call it Tangerine.
