EPCOT's Takumi-Tei Adds More Affordable 4-Course Omakase Menu for a Limited Time

For a limited time, Takumi-Tei at EPCOT's Japan Pavilion is offering a new 4-course "Semi" Omakase menu, providing a more accessible way to experience their signature dining experience. Priced at $150, the semi course is available in both Omnivorous and Plant-based options.


Omakase Menu Details

  • Full Course (7 courses): $250
  • Semi Course (4 courses): $150

The Semi Course features smaller portions of select dishes from the full Omakase menu. Chef selections may include:

  • Seasonal sashimi
  • Crafted hassun
  • Prepared inaniwa udon noodles
  • Deep-fried tofu
  • Mini zucchini tempura

I completely agree about V&A. The Michelin Guide Service Award that Israel got was well deserved, he did something special there.

I did both on back to back nights. Both were excellent. V&A is a completely unique wonderful experience, not even in the same category. (Not to take away from Takumi-Tei.)

I agree with @monothingie that a lower price option is probably a good thing. I'm curious, if you have one "splurge" meal in your plans: Takumi-tei at $250 (plus park admission), or Victoria & Albert's at $295?

Good Move. I've really enjoyed all the times I've gone here. If a pared down menu makes it more accessible for guests then it's win. I still think they would do a lot better reverting back to the Ala-cart menu from pre-covid. A lot of the current pre-fix menu may still be too "extreme" for guests. Better yet offer eliminate pre-fix menus property wide. Impose a cover charge if table sitting is an issue.
