Starbucks Reopens at Disney Springs Marketplace Following Refurbishment

The popular Starbucks location in the Marketplace at Walt Disney World's Disney Springs has officially reopened after a two-week refurbishment.

Guests can once again enjoy their favorite beverages and snacks at this convenient walk-up spot, located just outside World of Disney and across from the waterside stage.

The refurbishment appears to have been back-of-house, with no significant guest-facing changes.

Following the reopening of the Marketplace Starbucks, the flagship West Side Starbucks location is next in line for a major update, with closure details still to be announced.

I agree. I guess, based on many recent renovations, it now fully matches the modern design of Walt Disney World hotel rooms. So, yay consistent theme?

I am struggling to care...because its a Starbucks...

Hmm, I don't hate this! But I do think the mural (itself a lazy way to theme) would have been more successful had the animals been removed and it was just the regional landscape and flora, which would have done a better job at conveying the intent behind it. The exterior should have also played into that more. But I do like the vibe! (for a Starbucks)

Prices will go up refurbishment or not I presume? I always wondered about refurbishments. Are they going to freshen up things or make corrections in customer flow in this case? Over in Downtown Disney on the west coast, they are refurbishing a Sunglass Hut? Why? It’s a Sunglass Hut. Sometimes I think these companies have a refurbishment budget and they either use the money or lose the money. One refurbishment I wish never happened was EPCOT future world 🙁

Seems they are trying to evoke the vibe of where they source a bunch of their coffee (not that they don’t source from around the world) but I know Asia and Central/South America tend to be where they purchase a lot of their beans. I mean that’s probably most coffee beans in general but I digress. I feel that was the vision here

Maybe it's just the picture, but more than jungle themed I just see another wall mural and an overall look that matches Connections at Epcot.

This was an interesting choice... Like @Bocabear said - not sure why this is here... But, I guess it's nice enough? I still think the main Epic Universe one is my favorite, even though it's relatively small.

It's the new Disney way of mixing up themes throughout the property...Moana in Tomorrowland? Sure! Ariel on Main Street? Perfect!, Cars in Frontierland? A natural choice! Jungle themed Starbucks in Disney Springs? The perfect fit! lol Actually it looks very nice... And I agree their pre-prepared food shipped in from a factory somewhere and reheated is pretty dismal. Love their coffee, hate the food....But then again it is a coffee shop, not a restaurant.
