I'm a sucker for a good mule. I'd be all over that. Throw in some cheese and fries and I'm sold. Nice snack to get on my way to the Yorkshire County fish shop!

Glad this is finally happening. Seemed really weird we kept refreshment port around for so long instead of reworking it into a dedicated Canada kiosk thing.

Looking forward to seeing how this one turns out. It's obviously just a refocus, but a nice bridge from the Gateway into Canada. And, seems to be a Daily Poutine Lite (which I mean as a compliment). I also love these more "substantial" counter service location concepts. Now if we could get a really cool permanent concept into Odyssey...

Last year there certainly was a drop-off of Canadian tourists coming in. But things are changing already. Some of my customers rent out camps and beach houses to Canadians who come every year for summer vacations. They are telling me that their pre registrations are already coming in and they are expecting a better summer occupancy rate this year.

Love some Poutine! Sounds like a better CS fit for Canada though I hope they offer more than just poutine.

Disney AnalystApr 12, 2026

No idea, but their entire in flight safety video is now also Disney World themed so... trying to entice Canadian's back? I dunno.

They should brring back the Beavertails too!

When I first saw this, I thought it was an April 1st spoof. Given the drop-off in Canadians vacationing in the US, I'm not sure what Air Canada is hoping to achieve with this sponsorship. Can any Canadians on the thread provide any insight?

JIMINYCRApr 09, 2026

There are soooo many possibilities. It used to be that poutine was a regional fav and not many people knew what the heck poutine was. Then with the emergence of the cooking/ food competition/ chef shows it got a lot of notice. Looking forward to see their take on the dish.

This will be a hit with parkgoers, serious comfort food. I have to wonder what the twist is? Whipped cream? Honey barbecue pulled pork? Site doesn't say, yet.
