The Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort has officially opened Lagoon, a new gaming and dining space that replaces the former Picabu quick-service location. Lagoon offers an updated experience focused on arcade play and bowling, along with a fast-casual menu.

Hours of Operation

  • Arcade: 10:00am – 10:00pm
  • Dining: 11:00am – 10:00pm

Focus on Gaming and Quick Dining

Lagoon is built around entertainment. The space includes interactive video arcade games and two mini-bowling lanes, but offers limited seating. Food is designed for quick service and ordered from a touch screen — ideal for guests who want a bite between games or while bowling.

  • Southwest Salad – Mixed greens, fire-roasted corn: $15.00

I will miss buying Pepto Bismo there late at night after having acid reflux, indigestion from Park food. No joke. Also looking at Picabu art.

I’ve worked in very busy kitchens. You would be amazed that at times sweat pours down from the hard working kitchen staff onto the plated dish.

Hahahahahahaha. As as baldy, I find this hilarious and gross at the same time :)

Licking the heads of sweaty bald guests is an economic and efficient source of nutritious salt.

I also line up with fellow guests with empty water bottles to fill up at the park water fountains. Penny saved is a penny earned.

I just make tons of peanut butter sandwiches in my room and eat there or hoist a big bag of them into the parks.

Too many grifting games (e.g., the claw) and not enough arcade games.

Here is a tip - eat at the 24/7 McDonalds at All Star then afterwards enjoy the video games at the Dolphin.

I was going to comment - Who do they think they are, the Cake Bake Shoppe??? $21 for a burger, $18 for a grilled cheese and tomato soup, $17 for a hot dog. FFS... That said - The area does look nice.

We've entered the "$20 Quick Service Burgers" phase of life...
