Construction and Reopening
Construction walls remain up in the center of Harambe Market as crews update the kitchen with frying capabilities and make changes to the kiosks. The modifications will allow the location to prepare fried items like chicken strips, which were not previously offered.
Harambe Market closed October 20, 2025. The outdoor seating area has remained accessible during the closure.
The menu changes come as Disney prepares for the closure of Restaurantosaurus at the start of February 2026. Harambe Market's earlier reopening and expanded offerings will help absorb dining capacity lost when that high-capacity quick-service location closes for the Tropical Americas expansion.
