Operating hours have been added to Harambe Market on the Walt Disney World website starting Sunday, March 1, 2026 (as always, hours are subject to change):

I applaud Disney for trying to have an authentic African food eating experience. I wish more people would’ve tried it, but I can understand their hesitancy, since it’s not well-known food in America. African food along with Indian food, is quickly approaching the top of my list. Great flavors, great heat, and something different.

↩ replying to DCBakerHas it been confirmed that they're adding burgers, etc. or are converting the market to this type of food? I hope they're just adding.
J
↩ replying to JohnDThere's likely to be some sort of tradeoff. The reason for the downtime is typically to reconfigure the kitchen to add equipment for preparing the items they're adding to the menu. Because the physical space isn't actually getting larger, this generally also necessitates removing some things to make way and/or dedicating existing fryers, ovens, etc. to different things in order to produce them in the quantities required.
J
↩ replying to James AlucobondHopefully that's the case. The site that shall not be named has been firm on their clickbait. It's converting entirely to burgers and fries.

Disney has updated the description for Harambe Market:
Bring the whole family to this open-air African plaza for classic staples—from burgers and wraps to a signature salad. Desserts, beer and soft drinks are also available.
Here, the citizens of Harambe welcome travelers from all around the world, encouraging Guests of every age to tantalize their senses by enjoying a classic Angus Burger, crispy Chicken Strips, a hearty Harissa Chicken Wrap or a refreshing salad of mixed greens, lentils, carrots and couscous.

I love Sam’s Pizza in Wildwood, NJ, and I love “Disney Pizza” too. 😂

How very imaginative...
Nothing says "luxury target market" like frozen theme park burgers and fries...
(And that's a dig on the guests as much as Disney. Glad those who enjoy this enjoy it, but it's disappointing for this location.)

↩ replying to larryzNo. Just no. Nothing says luxury target market like giant rodent!

Well this looks pretty grim, but I think there is good reason to expect a very good menu lineup in the new Tropical Americas quick serve. I would expect something along the lines of Satu'li Canteen.
K
↩ replying to Epcot82GuyAt least the salad looks good?
B
↩ replying to wdwmagicDo you expect the new menu to stay after Tropical Americas opens? Could it return to its previous offerings?
W
↩ replying to bmr1591I think the new Tropical Americas eatery will be the place for the interesting food, and Harambe will stay with this. There is a significant kitchen expense in this change, that I don't see them just abandoning next year.
