Feels a bit weird to go to so much effort for just a 3 month run. Wonder if (assuming it goes well) it might extend over the whole summer season.

I don't understand how anyone drinks/eats these things. I love a good milkshake, but the surge of places topping them with like three cookies, candy, etc. is crazy. I don't want 2500 calories and 250 grams of sugar in one go.

I was actually interested in this, pity it's only 90 days. Surely this would be a hit in the summer

I haven't. I will have to try one next time I'm at either resort now.

So is this "temporary" in normal world terms or "temporary" in Disney terms? I wouldn't be averse to a good milkshake for dessert after having a slice at Pizza Ponte.

Have you had them at DLR? They're great.

One of the great things about salt and straw (on both coasts thankfully!) is that you can try the crazy flavors before you buy.

The art of the sale.... Like anything being promoted to sell, they first must entice you to buy. It's the visual hook that gets you first. Visually these photos evoke emotional responses, curiosity and attachments. After tasting you may or may not be a returning consumer but they've gotten your wallet to open at least once. Then you may just want to try it a second time later on to affirm or alter your first opinion.

It's too bad they're more focused on how they look instead of how they taste. All about the 'gram.

Those over stuffed milkshakes are never good. Something is always stale.

I like Black Tap at Downtown Disney in Disneyland, but I haven't ever gotten the crazy shakes. That is just too much stuff for me but their regular food and a normal shakes are good. I wouldn't be sad to see Black Tap be a permanent thing in Disney Springs.
