Coral Reef Restaurant is returning. The EPCOT dining spot will reopen on November 4, 2026, after closing on September 8 for an approximately eight-week period.

Disney has not shared what work, if any, will be done during the closure. It remains unclear whether this was a refurbishment, a planned seasonal closure, or something in between.

The restaurant moved to a dinner-only schedule on January 4, 2026, operating from 4pm to 9pm daily. That shedule remains on reopening, so lunch service is not confirmed to be returning.

It appears Coral Reef Restaurant may reopen on November 4, 2026 - operating hours have been added and reservations are now available:
The space could've been better used for storage.
The refurb seems pointless if only reopening for dinner.
It’s really too bad that this place struggles. I always loved eating along to aquarium. I will say the last time I went was I think 2019~? But never went back since because the menu was just so meh and it was always hit and miss for me on food quality.
They should put in an actual ramp instead of the weird one step elevator.

Not during Candlelight.
Coral Reef Restaurant is now showing reservation availability starting September 29:
Coral Reef was always our favorite restaurant in the parks.
When we took annual family vacations to WDW, Coral Reef was always our first reservation of the trip.
It was a shame to see the food quality drop off over the years.
The kids didn't really notice, but my wife and I did.

Perhaps they've improved the quality?
I know the menu remains the same according to the story, but it would be nice to see if the quality has improved.
It used to be very good.
In any even, were we to get the family together for another trip, we would still make Coral Reef our first reservation just for old times sake.

Why don’t you give it another try after it reopens?

because its dinner only and were just never there at night

Never at Epcot at night? I don’t think I’ve ever heard that from a person.

The around the world blackout removes any memory of EPCOT at night.
We used to always enjoy Coral Reef but the last few years it just has felt worn inside and the food not as good. I'm disappointed to read that it wasn't closed for a full refurbishment as it really needs it.
