'Brunch at the Top' is now available to book for Sundays beginning February 7 2016 at the California Grill restaurant at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

Priced at $80 for adults, and $48 for ages 3 - 11, the experience begins with breakfast pastries served at the table. Offerings include caramel apple Monkey bread, Tillamook Cheddar biscuit and cranberry scones pecan with house-made jam and orange blossom honey butter.

For drinks, there will be a Bloody Mary Bar as well as cocktails and craft brews, and a signature brunch cocktail and faux “mimosas” for kids.

A visit to the show kitchen lets guests interact with the culinary team while enjoying a sample of small plates, such as house smoked orange honey ham, deviled Lake Meadow Naturals eggs, Greek yogurt with vanilla-scented granola and fresh berries, kale and apple salad, baby iceberg wedge with Cherrywood bacon and avocado-buttermilk Ranch dressing, hardwood smoked salmon, California rolls with jumbo lump crabmeat, spicy tuna rolls and shrimp tempura with orange drizzle and mango.

The main course is delivered table side from a menu including:

  • Pan-Fried Buttermilk Organic Chicken Cutlet with Haricots Verts, Toasted Almonds, Frisée, Beurre Noisette;
  • Sweet Potato Pancakes with Caramelized Heirloom Apples, Dried Cranberry and Raisin Compote, Vanilla
  • Custard, Warm Canadian Maple Syrup;
  • Shrimp and Grits, Gulf White Shrimp with Tillamook Cheddar Grits, Spicy Tomato Broth,
    Espellette-Spiced Tomato Ragout;
  • Poached Lobster Benedict with Butter-Poached Tail, Two Soft-Poached Eggs, Honey Ham,

Thank you :). For whatever reason, there is no Brunch on 4-24-2016. I COULD find one a week ahead of, and a week behind, that date.

I'm wishing, too, but for $80 I'm pretty sure it's not. :( Especially since Narcoossee's only offers one beverage.

I haven't been able to find out what the drink situation is. It sounds like it might be unlimited drinks. I'm wishing.....

Well, you need to check for Sundays and make sure the dates are after the brunch is supposed to begin. I came up with multiple times for Sunday, 5/29. I just went to the California Grill page on MDE and randomly chose 3/20, clicked "Brunch" and multiple times came up.

TheGuyThatMakesSwordsDec 18, 2015

If I might ask.... I keep CHECKING MDE under the California Grill. So far, the time drop down won't show ANY times before 5:00 PM. Is Brunch at the Top yet another "you have to call because our Web Site Can't Handle it" booking?

JohnDDec 18, 2015

There seems to be plenty of availability now on MDE, at least when I look at 5/29.

It appears May 29 is already booked. That's okay. I already have an ADR at CG for that Saturday evening.

I might consider it with unlimited mimosas, but otherwise I'll stick to Boma or Trail's End. -Rob

As will come as no surprise to anyone who has read any of my posts or trip reports, I'd consider this totally worth it if it is unlimited drinks. If just one, then the price is way over my pay grade because with what are probably $15.00 cocktails, we're not getting out of there (2 people) for less than $250.00 including tip.

I'm surprised they didn't do something like this sooner.

MinthorneDec 16, 2015

I was able to call and book for May 22. Looking forward to trying this out.

I am thinking I would like to do this when I go back in the Spring. :)

MinthorneDec 16, 2015

There have been some post of comments on the DIsneyParks Blog that people cannot book by calling either.

I tried to book online but it is not available yet. :(
