California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort has refreshed its menu, and there's a lot worth knowing about before your next visit. The updated California Grill menu brings new starters, mains, and cocktails that lean into seasonal, California-inspired ingredients.

The restaurant operates on a three-course prix-fixe format, priced at $99 per adult (plus tax and gratuity). Kids ages 3-9 eat for $42. A deluxe wine pairing is available for an additional $78.

It really frosts my cookies* when they advertise the menu as prix fixe but then add a hefty surcharge for the one main everyone is most likely to order when they're already paying $99 per adult to eat there... * something you can't get for dessert there...

You probably already know this, but if you keep trying, one might open up.

Its been a long while since I've been on here. Was just talking about the Cali Grill and pining for the old days when the menu wasn't PF. I'd just like to walk in, order a sushi dish, drink, and a dessert; instead of the whole 9 yards. At least the Spicy Kazan is still on there, but for sure I'd try the Wagyu Strip Loin or the Lamb

Wanted to give the new menu a try and watch the special 4th of July fireworks from there. No adr's available on July 3rd, 4th and 5th. It was a long shot, I know, lol.

They finally brought flatbreads back. I can live happily now.

I like the new menu, the new seafood options look specially good to me. Only thing is, it appears (my favorite) Braised Beef Short Rib Wontons are gone. 😢

My question too - I’d love to try the carrot gnocchi for a late lunch / early dinner!

Do they still allow a la carte ordering at the bar??? Order what you want?

Looks good. Sad to see the Venison go, but the lamb if it's like last year was very good. I did the wagyu upgrade last year it wasn't great. This option looks much better. Would definitely try it...for scientific purposes of course. The bar menu is more extensive for apps and keeps some of the older favorites which you can usually sub on the pre-fix.
