We have new details about the new 3D show coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom, which will replace "it's Tough to be a Bug."

The newest show coming to the Tree of Life Theater features Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and all their friends from Disney Animation's Zootopia.

The show, "Zootopia: Better Zoogether!" will take guests on an adventure through different biomes seen in the film and opens winter 2025. A closing date for "it's Tough to be a Bug" has not been announced.

I think it will be something like Country Bears. Close in January and open in time for Summer

Not saying this from any inside information, purely speculation, but I can't imagine they need to do too much physical work to the theatre (aside from the installation of new figures of course). I imagine it will have a quicker than usual test and adjust phase.

With Dinoland heading for, at least partial, extinction by the end of this year and early next year, where do we think that puts a Bug closing now? Same time as speculated or has something moved behund the scenes?

And operates consistently.

Writer/director of the new movie: Keep in mind people here think it has to be a police story with fursuits. Also, they don't realize that buildings in trees make sense in Zootopia. Look in the image above, and I might be able to find a better image....

Not a game changing amount but something. At least initially there could be more interest though and also result in more people waiting in line for the next show (or even show after that)

The concept art shows that Clawhauser will be the animatronic for this show.. Expect to see the version they have from Shanghai in his spot during the show..

That's what's been confirmed... https://www.wdwmagic.com/attractions/zootopia-better-zoogether/news/11aug2024-zootopia-better-zoogether-opens-winter-2025-at-disneys-animal-kingdom.htm And with them wearing their outfits in the attraction poster from the sequel gives it a big hint..

You have no desire to see a show that no one has seen, and that no one really knows what it will be like? Way to keep an open mind. Definitely have to consider that well informed and reasoned opinion

Probably December 2025, as Zootopia 2 comes out November 26. "Synergy"

ToTBellHopSep 08, 2024

What does “winter ‘25“ mean? Early next year or December 2025?

TrainsOfDisneySep 08, 2024

By how much though? Tough to be a bug isn’t playing to empty theaters.

EagleScout610Sep 08, 2024

Wouldn't be surprised if Zootopia is supposed to be opening Winter '25. I wouldn't be surprised if that means Bug closes after Christmas

TheMaxReboSep 08, 2024

right, it wouldn't be a "capacity" increase but it likely would be a "actual number of people who are experiencing this and thus not on line/doing something else" increase
