The Main Street U.S.A. Railroad Station refurbishment remains in progress at Magic Kingdom, with work now shifting to the right side of the building as viewed from Main Street.

The left side of the station, where crews recently completed a concrete flooring replacement, has now reopened to guests.

Meanwhile, the right side of the station is now closed off as construction continues. Several scrims remain in place on the Main Street-facing side of the structure, partially blocking views of the work in progress.

Despite the ongoing refurbishment, the train station remains operational, and the Walt Disney World Railroad continues to make its regular stops at Main Street U.S.A., Frontierland, and Fantasyland. Disney has not shared a completion date for the project.

VIP Tours. And in more recent months the balcony is also closed for fireworks viewing in my experience.

Anybody but common peasants like you and me apparently! Haha. I mentioned how they rope off the entrance to the station with no signage that the train station itself is still open and how to access it. I witnessed a family trying to get on the train who went up the exit ramp, who were scolded by a CM - the same CM who could have simply opened the gate and let them on the train - it was still boarding and there was plenty of room.

I know it was opening night of starlight but they had almost all entrances to the station blocked off while the train was still operating. No signage on how to get to the station. A poor family went up the exit ramp and they were scolded by a CM who could have easily let them on the train. There was plenty of room and it was still boarding.

The benches are gone. Maybe that's temporary. But, I've witnessed people camping them two hours before fireworks so they can have a seat for the show.
