TRON Lightcycle Run construction - July 29 2020

Construction crews have been back at TRON Lightcycle Run for a couple of weeks now, with work taking place inside the building and outside.

On the back-side of the building, the last of the open walls are being enclosed.

TRON Lightcyle Run is expected to open in 2021 at the Magic Kingdom, but like all projects, COVID-19 may impact timelines.

Don’t get me started. Queue games that were removed. Projections that don’t. Speakers that aren’t blown stuck in the middle of a constant ops and WDI argument...

Hate to say it but I feel the same way about MK. I spend most of my time on the west side and eventually only make my way to Tomorrowland for Space Mountain and PeopleMover (when it's open).

Half the crap they strapped onto it is broken at this point.. Including the audio.

20000 Leagues was one of the most iconic things in the park...The exterior with the subs moving into the caves and all that beautiful water was breathtaking.

Yeah, it's OG. But now every tourist destination has a go cart track of some sort. For that space, I'd rather have 20,000 back.

All I can think of is that they see it as "iconic" or something?

How the speedway has avoided the chopping block all these years has always baffled me. It takes up a ton of valuable real estate and can't be a good people eater.

Judging from the post, I think JoeCamel is making fun of the Disney marketing machine, not assuming little girls only want princesses.

Sorry, the Ratatouille attraction is in Epcot.

I hear you, while I wouldn’t want Tron to stretch out more (into the park) I would have loved to double down and had people mover track added in going through the new area somehow.

What matters most is what ppl see from inside the park. Agree to disagree. Btw you know I love and appreciate all you do!
