TRON Lightcycle Run Virtual Queue and Lightning Lane entrance

TRON Lightcycle Run at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom will operate from 9am to 9pm on Wednesday March 28, the longest so far during the soft opening period.

TRON Lightcycle Run is in soft opening until April 2 2023

Soft openings began last Monday from 9am to 6pm, and operating hours had peaked at 9am to 8pm.

The Virtual Queue continues to reach capacity very quickly. Both the 7am and 1pm queues stayed open for just over 3 seconds today. As a reminder, there is no conventional standby line available at TRON Lightcycle Run.

TRON Lightcycle Run will officially open to all guests April 4 2023.

Tron still hasn't opened for the day since the park opened at 9am (BGs would usually start around 8:45am). This is the longest delayed opening yet. Edit: BG's have start being called at 10:31am signaling a 1.5hr delayed opening this morning.

True, it's a pretty simple ride to run. One thing I'm really bothered by about this attraction is the lack of shade in the outdoor queue. I thought VQ was a way to control/prevent that from happening... so what gives? That extended queue is painful to stand in during the middle of the day. Is it a result of California-based Imagineers not realizing Florida is hotter than the sun and not making an adjustment?

Even though demand for this ride is no where near what they hoped (can I insert 'I told you so' here?), I will say the ride appears to be very consistent and reliable, with very little downtime or issues.
