Disney has today updated operating hours and released FastPass+ availability for the upcoming Toy Story Land. We've put together a quick guide to everything you need to know about how to experience the land when it opens June 30 2018.

FastPass+ at Toy Story Land

FastPass+ is now available for those guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, and are within the 60 day prior to check-in window. For example, if you have a 14 day stay arriving on June 16, you would be eligible to make a FastPass+ for Toy Story Land on June 30.

All three attractions in Toy Story Land will be included in FastPass+, including Slinky Dog Dash coaster, Alien Swirling Saucers, and Toy Story Mania.

FastPass+ tiering at Disney's Hollywood Studios is being adjusted, with all three Toy Story Land attractions in Tier 1, and all other FP+ attractions (such as Tower of Terror and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster) in Tier 2. You can select one Tier 1 attraction, and two Tier 2 attractions. This means that you can only FP+ one Toy Story Land attraction.

Extra Magic Hours at Toy Story Land

Morning Extra Magic Hours for Walt Disney World Resort guests will be held everyday from July 1 to August 31 2018, 7am to 8am.

Evening Extra Magic Hours will be held on Fridays during July and August, from 10:30pm to 12:30am.

EMH will include all of Toy Story Land and other attractions throughout the park.

Park Hours during Toy Story Land opening

Operating hours on opening day June 30 2018 are currently 8am to 11pm, moving to 8am to 10:30pm throughout July and until August 25 2018. In addition, EMH will be offered (see above).

View the full operating hours along with EMH on our unofficial calendar.

Height Requirements at Toy Story Land

Slinky Dog Dash, the family-friendly roller coaster, will have a 38” height requirement, and Alien Swirling Saucers will have a 32" height requirement.

That’s not what I meant. What I meant was I like the cartoony one for fun. And I like The overhead realistic one for logistics.

You’re claim that published art is used for “logistics” is not really true.

WondersOfLifeApr 19, 2021

I’m not sure what you’re getting at but ok

Nobody uses concept art for "logistics". More and more published art is not even all that conceptual, being created on top of the "blueprints" if they're not just the "blueprints" like we have seen with the recent hotels at Walt Disney World.

One is realism, the other imaginative. I wish they'd use both styles. One is fun, the other is for logistics.

His concept art is waaaaaaaay better than whoever does that horrible cartoon style rubbish. EDIT - Rubbish is slightly harsh, it's just not a particular style I like (example below)

I'd love it if we eventually got the western town and Big Al's.

He's also the concept artist of New Fantasyland, Epcot Ratatouille area, play pavilion, the Disneyland Rivers of America remake, Disneyland's 50th castle decor & MK's 50th castle decor.

The original concept artist for TSL (among other projects) revealed himself on Twitter recently. An interesting tidbit is that someone asked about the lack of shade and acknowledged it. Regardless, still sad we didn’t get the full land as originally visioned with the bridge over SDD and the western-Town and barn gift shop. Original tweet:

So you wouldn't want the video of me shining a strobe light at a passing sasquatch while recreating Everest?

MovieloverApr 14, 2020

Yeah... day 100... *shoves socks back into drawer :cautious:

MisterPenguinApr 14, 2020

Just wait until day 100 of your confinement: you'll be putting on a sock puppet version of Great Moments in History from the windows of your house!

It beats the homemade recreations of favourite rides. Please, no more. How many times can you film people going down the stairs in a laundry basket and call it Splash, Pirates, Frozenstrom ...?
