Scaffolding has gone up on a large section of Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios, as work continues on a fairly extensive exterior refurbishment at the attraction.
The most visible work is on the right side of the Hollywood Tower Hotel, where scaffolding now climbs a large portion of the building's upper floors.
On the ground level, several of the exterior columns are wrapped in construction scrims, including every column along the queue just before you reach the lobby entrance.
Despite the work, Tower of Terror is operating as normal. There's no queue closure and no impact on ride availability.

There's no word yet on how much more of the building will go behind scaffolding, or a timeline for when the work will wrap up. This kind of exterior refurbishment is common for the aging facade, and Disney doesn't typically announce these projects in advance.
