A small fire broke out last night at EPCOT's American Adventure pavilion.

The fire at the back of the America Gardens Theatre appeared to result from a stray firework from the nighttime show Harmonious.

Firework-related fires at Walt Disney World are not unusual, with numerous safety measures in place to identify and quickly respond when they occur.

I should clarify. I’m not referring to a full boat like this one in the water. Things like the gondola in Italy, the wooden boats sitting on the beach at the outpost, the trajinera boat formerly on the rocks outside Mexico….

I didn't know that! Do you have a list or know of what the vessels are/were that each country has/had?

It’s just a prop. Most of the world showcase pavilions were intended to have some type of water based vessel in the water or near by. Many of them did at one time. Only a couple still do.

Has the Golden Dream ever been used for anything? Or is it just a nice prop to dress the back side of the theater?

Photo from today - the Golden Dream has returned to the lagoon.

Yes it is on the tour

I think it was on the Backstage Magic tour that they took us behind the scenes here. It is a feat of engineering for sure. Also was amazing that it still runs on basically the same computer that was used when it opened.

Has that ship ever sailed around the lagoon like the Columbia at Disneyland?

Hopefully the pyro launcher on top of the Americans Garden theater will be in use again for the new nighttime show. All the equipment is still up there, seemingly with nothing removed (yet).

A swift and expedient repair! 😉 But happy it’s (finally) fixed.

10 months to fix that. That's impressive for modern Disney.

What happened to the ship that was docked there?
