Disney has announced that Annual Passholder previews for the reimagined Test Track at EPCOT will take place July 13 through July 19, 2025, with the exception of July 17, when no preview will be offered. This limited-time opportunity allows Passholders to experience the updated attraction before its official reopening on July 22.

As with previous preview events, including those for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in 2024, Passholders will need to follow a two-step process to participate: securing a park reservation for EPCOT on the day of the preview and joining a virtual queue using the My Disney Experience app.

Details for Test Track Passholder Previews

  • First, make a park reservation for EPCOT to have an opportunity to join the 7 a.m. virtual queue for that day.
  • Next, on the day of the preview, it’s time to request to join the virtual queue using the My Disney Experience app. There will be two opportunities to join each day of previews.
  • The 7 a.m. virtual queue will be available to Passholders with a park reservation to EPCOT for that day.
  • The 1 p.m. virtual queue will be available to any Passholder with valid admission. A park reservation to a theme park is not required.
  • You do not need to have entered a theme park to join the virtual queue.

Important Information

  • Passholders must have a Walt Disney World Annual Pass with valid admission on the preview date and may need a theme park reservation depending on the time of visit. Applicable pass block-out dates apply. Theme park reservations are limited and subject to availability, and reservation requirements are subject to change.
  • As a reminder, if a Passholder has a reservation to another theme park, they must enter the theme park where they have a reservation prior to visiting EPCOT. Or, Passholders may visit EPCOT without a park reservation after 2:00 PM.
  • Each Passholder can request to join a virtual queue no more than once per day.
  • Joining the virtual queue does not guarantee the ability to participate in the preview. Boarding groups for a virtual queue are limited, subject to availability, and are not guaranteed. Not all boarding groups may be called to return, based on availability of the attraction. Learn more about virtual queues.
  • Offering, dates, hours and virtual queue distribution times are subject to change or cancellation without notice or liability.

We have been doing a series of Planner, Filler, Skipper for all the parks and Epcot definitely had the highest % of "skipper" attractions. I love Epcot, but there is a big drop off in the ride popularity like you said. Getting TT back definitely helps but redoing Imagination to be a top tier ride would also help balance the park some

If we're discussing IP rides with sponsors, TRON currently has a sponsor.

And does it still exist?

Even then,… great movie ride had a sponsor

You know new Attractions can't have no IP in them unless they are paid for by someone else like Test Track.

I don't know whose Idea TBA was but I would not fire the Show Producer for a very obvious reason.

I had spotted that too. Was hoping for TT tee (without ears on it) and a vehicle model.

Is there any actual Test Track merch in the gift shop? All I saw were stuff for GM's cars and Lightning McQueen.
