Work on the reimagined Test Track at EPCOT continues to move forward, and the latest construction photos show significant progress as the attraction gears up for its late summer 2025 reopening.
New Marquee and Signage Now in Place
At the entrance, the recently installed Test Track marquee is now fully visible. The illuminated sign incorporates the updated logo for the reimagined experience, presented by General Motors.
Alongside the main marquee, overhead signage for both the Standby and Lightning Lane entrances has also been installed. The signage matches the overall design style and color scheme of the marquee.
Canopy Work Continues
Above the entrance, construction crews are still actively working on the new canopy structure, which replaces the original scaffolding canopy removed earlier this year.
Simporium Gift Shop Renamed
In addition to updates at the attraction entrance, the nearby Simporium gift shop has been renamed “Test Track Gear Shop.” New exterior signage has been installed, using the same design language and color palette as the new marquee.
Ride Testing Ramps Up
While Disney has not yet shared an exact reopening date, Test Track remains on track to open in late summer 2025. Ride vehicles continue to be heard cycling on the outdoor track at frequent intervals, now appearing to be running at or near operational levels. This suggests that the ride system is progressing through advanced testing phases in preparation for eventual previews and soft openings.
