Disney has announced the opening timeframe for Soarin' Across America, the next evolution of the long-running Soarin' attraction. The new film will debut in summer 2026 at both EPCOT and Disney California Adventure Park, with Walt Disney World guests able to experience the updated version by Memorial Day 2026.
The refreshed attraction will take guests on a flight across the United States, featuring sweeping aerial views, national landmarks, and scenic landscapes captured specifically for the new experience. Disney confirmed that the updated film is part of the broader "Disney Celebrates America" initiative, a company-wide tribute to the nation's 250th anniversary.
"Soarin' Across America" replaces Soarin' Around the World, which has been operating at the parks since 2016. While the core ride system remains the same, the new film will focus entirely on U.S. locations, blending natural wonders and city skylines with the ride's signature score, scents, and gliding motion.
Disney describes the project as an immersive tribute to the country's geographic and cultural diversity, brought to life through new aerial cinematography and the ride's signature flight experience. With Memorial Day 2026 marking the first opportunity to "take off" at EPCOT, guests at both coasts can expect the full rollout to continue through the early summer season.
