Disney has posted a notice on its website indicating that Slush Gusher at Blizzard Beach is temporarily unavailable. The notice appeared this morning, April 4, with no word on the cause or when the slide will reopen.

Slush Gusher is one of Blizzard Beach's high speed body slides, located next to the park's signature attraction, Summit Plummet.

Disney has not provided any additional details, and no estimated reopening date has been given.

Yes, Slush Gusher did not reopen with the park to my knowledge. Went a few days after it reopened and it was filled with leaves and dirty water. Looks like they have been working on it though, and they cleaned up the slide too!

Summit Plummit was closed for an extended period of time at the beginning of March.

Saw this mentioned on a vlog last week so it may have been closed since then. This isn’t verified info but a CM mentioned the cold snap had potentially caused cracking/damage to the slide that would need to be repaired. Hopefully it’s something that can be fixed in place as any replacement would have to wait until its next closure.
