Members of Aerosmith were spotted yesterday visiting Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Disney's Hollywood Studios, just weeks before the attraction closes on March 2, 2026.
TikTok user yes.its.al shared video of Tom Hamilton and entourage walking through the outdoor queue with a Disney VIP tour guide. The group moved toward the attraction entrance as guests looked on.
@yes.its.al Wackiest thing just happened! We're on line to get into the Aerosmith Rockin Roller Coaster attraction at Hollywood Studios in Disney World, and some of the band just happens to also be here. Tom Hamilton the bassist (and entourage) just walked right past us. Disney has not commented on the visit, but the timing suggests the band may have been there for a final ride before the coaster transforms into Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets.
Final Days of Operation
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith closes March 2, 2026, with March 1 as the last day of operation. The ride has featured Aerosmith's music since opening in 1999.
The Aerosmith preshow has already closed permanently as work begins to create the new Muppets-themed preshow.
Muppets Take Over
The attraction reopens summer 2026 as Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. You'll race across Hollywood with the Electric Mayhem band to reach their concert on time. The updated experience will introduce new scenes, updated visuals, and a soundtrack performed by the Electric Mayhem.
Construction permits show set installations are underway inside the building.
