Annual Passholders planning to join the 7:00 am virtual queue distribution for Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets should note that Hollywood Studios park reservations for both May 21 and May 22 are now at capacity. May 23 remains the only date with Hollywood Studios availability across the three-day preview period.

Final Look at Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Before Previews Begin - May 12 2026

May 22 reached capacity independently of the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster preview announcement. The date coincides with the opening of the updated Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, which launches May 22 with The Mandalorian and Grogu and new gameplay features. Hollywood Studios reservations for that date were already gone before Rock 'n' Roller Coaster previews were confirmed.

May 23 is the only remaining preview date with Hollywood Studios park reservations available, giving Passholders access to all three virtual queue distributions including the 7:00 am window. Reservations for that date may fill quickly as Passholders who missed May 21 and 22 look for alternatives.

Remaining Options for May 21 and 22

Passholders without a Hollywood Studios reservation on May 21 or 22 can still access previews through the alternative distributions:

11:00 am Distribution

Available to Passholders with a park reservation to any theme park that day
Must enter the reserved park before visiting Hollywood Studios
Passholders with reservations at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, or Animal Kingdom can still qualify

3:00 pm Distribution

Available to any Passholder with valid admission
No park reservation required
No park entry required to join the virtual queue

Full Virtual Queue Schedule

The same distribution times apply across all three preview days:

7:00 am - Requires Hollywood Studios park reservation for that day
11:00 am - Requires any theme park reservation for that day, must enter reserved park first
3:00 pm - Available to any Passholder with valid admission, no reservation required

With May 21 and 22 both at capacity for Hollywood Studios, May 23 is the last opportunity to secure a park reservation for the 7:00 am distribution. Passholders wanting full flexibility should book a Hollywood Studios reservation for May 23 as soon as possible.

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets opens to the public on May 26, 2026, following DVC Member priority access on May 24.

I have said before they should have ditched the rotounda video idea because the move stream thing is odd and the material would have gone better in the carport queue where there is nothing. Many have mentioned the pre-show staging was terrible. Sad zero was done about it.

In the Aerosmith version, the screen was further back and the band was framed center screen. In the new one the screen is closer and the band is framed to the bottom of the screen to match the depth at which the screen was placed. As well as the fact that Muppets are short. The penguins at the mixing board and Scooter are also low so that they don’t block the screens behind them.

It is indeed poorly staged I won’t argue that at all, but I do think the amount of “you can’t see anything from the back” is being a little over reported. It’s not quite that bad.

I'm surprised more people aren't talking about this. If you are not right up to the window you cannot see Scooter or the penguins or the band members on the screen because everyone standing right up to the window is blocking your view. You can only see Kermit and whatever other character calls in on their respective screens. I also think they should really consider putting those videos that are on the rotunda screens spliced in to a longer loop that plays on the screens outside in the queue.
