The beloved Statler and Waldorf Audio-Animatronics figures from the now-closed MuppetVision 3D have a new home at Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets.
Disney has released a short video showing the iconic duo in their new location, which appears to be at the attraction's unload station.
The two curmudgeonly Muppets bring their signature heckling humor to the coaster experience, continuing a legacy that stretches back to MuppetVision 3D's opening at Disney's Hollywood Studios in 1991.
Classic Jokes in a New Setting
The video reveals two of Statler and Waldorf's new jokes, including a callback to one of MuppetVision 3D's most memorable gags:
"You know, this concert reminds me of a roller coaster. How's that? It's all downhill."
"We have time to go to the bathroom before the next song. We can't, you old fool, we're bolted to the seats."
Statler and Waldorf's critical, curmudgeonly perspective fits perfectly at the ride's exit, where their complaints about the concert and the coaster add one last laugh before guests head back into the park.
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets opens for Annual Passholder previews on May 21, with DVC Member priority access on May 24 and the public opening on May 26, 2026.
